From the first ideas scribbled in a notebook to the long strategic discussions over coffee, Humabloom is taking shape. The project is moving forward—at our own pace, with conviction, enthusiasm, and a lot of learning along the way! Today, we wanted to take you with us and share, with complete transparency, where we stand.
Project Design Nearly Finalized
We are currently in the final stages of designing the project. This is a demanding but essential step: laying a solid foundation to build something sustainable and coherent to promote localization.
The next big step? Finalizing the financial aspect. Business model, projections, budgetary assumptions—this meticulous work will allow us to approach fundraising with confidence!
The Platform Takes Shape
At the same time, we are making concrete progress on:
- The website mockup,
- The first version of the online training modules.
Our goal is twofold: to bring the project to life and to present it tangibly to our partners. We want Humabloom to be not just an inspiring idea, but a concrete, structured, and ready-to-deploy tool. Seeing the first content being built is a particularly stimulating moment—it’s when the vision becomes reality.
Co-Constructed Governance
One of the most important aspects for us is the co-construction of governance. Humabloom is not intended to be a project “for” local organizations, but rather a project “with” them.
We are currently networking within the humanitarian sector to identify 10 local organizations (LOs) that will actively participate in the project’s governance.
This step takes time: exchanges, meetings, discussions about participation modalities, role definitions… But it is also one of the most exciting! It concretely embodies our commitment to localization.
What’s Next?
If everything goes as planned, by spring, the major structural steps of development will be finalized: consolidated design, stabilized financial framework, first building blocks of the platform ready, etc.
We will then enter a new phase:
- Deepening the co-construction of governance,
- Actively launching fundraising,
- Strengthening communication around the project.
In other words: moving from internal construction to outward opening.
Thank You for Following the Adventure!
Humabloom is still under construction. We are moving forward step by step, with high standards but also with confidence. Each step brings us closer to a simple yet ambitious goal: facilitating access to funding for local organizations and contributing to humanitarian responses that are more rooted, fairer, and more sustainable.
Thank you for following this adventure with us! The next chapter is coming soon—and we are thrilled to build it alongside you.
