Who We Are

We are two humanitarian professionals experts in fundraising, grants management, and local partnerships.

Manon Point

Co-founder of Humabloom

Manon has 12 years of experience working with international NGOs and currently works as a consultant in humanitarian project development and fundraising.

She has coordinated national and international teams, particularly in crisis contexts across Africa, the Caribbean, and Latin America.

Committed to the localization of humanitarian aid, she advocates for equitable and sustainable partnerships where local organizations can fully take their place.

Elise Vidal

Co-founder of Humabloom

For over 10 years, Elise has supported international NGOs in improving their local partnership processes and developing their funding.

She contributes to making humanitarian processes fairer and more effective, such as by implementing new due diligence methodologies for partnerships in Ukraine. In other countries like Iraq and the Central African Republic, she has helped organizations master donor rules to better represent the needs of local populations.

Two Founders Committed to Localization

Ten years of experience around the world have given us a deep understanding of the sector’s opportunities — and its limitations. International development can still be rigid and overly standardized, often restricting the involvement of local organizations. Yet they are best placed to drive sustainable change in their own territories.

Today, we want to share our skills to help local organizations strengthen their autonomy, increase their impact, and access funding more easily.

At Humabloom, we believe that international development is at a historic turning point, with localization as its keystone!

We want to see international development decolonized — with the value and leadership of local organizations fully recognized, and equitable dialogue with more powerful actors made possible.

Humabloom’s Values

EQUITY

We fight injustice by placing local organizations at the heart of our work: valuing their role, strengthening their power, and ensuring our decisions benefit first and foremost those who have the least.

INTEGRITY

We place integrity at the core of everything we do, standing alongside local organizations with honesty, transparency, and consistency — convinced this is the key to fair and truly effective aid.

CREATIVITY

We champion creativity and innovation. We believe that, despite growing standardization, there is always room to evolve, grow, and dare to imagine new approaches to international development.
